Carlos Luna was raised in New York City where he was inspired as a young boy by local artists like celebrity photographer and cinematographer David "Shadi" Perez, esteemed photographer Sue Kwon, and portrait photographer Rebecca Zilenziger. He graduated from Parsons New School and began his career as a graphic designer and photo retoucher.
It wasn't until Carlos began working for the iconic Spiegel brand—that his passion for photography was rekindled and he purchased his first camera. With a critical eye for detail—Carlos stepped behind the lens and began to develop his technical skills and signature style.
